Horizon Nearshore Survey Fleet

Horizon has a fleet of nearshore survey boats which are all permanently mobilised with analogue geophysical and hydrographic survey spreads.

Amphibious Vehicle 1

The Amphibious Vehicle 1 has been designed to cater to nearshore geotechnical investigation in water depths less than 3m.

Terra Surf

Horizon’s Terra-Surf Self Elevating Platform (SEP) can operate in water depths from 1m to 10m. The Terra-Surf is permanently mobilised with a drill rig and downhole testing equipment.

H27

Horizon’s H27 Self Elevating Platform (SEP) can operate in water depths from 5m to 20m. The H27 is permanently mobilised with a drill rig and downhole testing equipment and comes fitted with an offshore laboratory.

Gard Horizon

The Gard Horizon, a 75m DP2 vessel, was added to Horizon’s fleet in early 2022. She is permanently mobilised with a heave compensated geotechnical drill rig with downhole sampling and CPT system allowing her to drill boreholes for foundation design.

Horizon Surveyor

The Horizon Surveyor is a designated survey vessel and was built in 2004. She is permanently mobilised with analogue geophysical and hydrographic survey spreads.

Horizon Geobay

The Horizon Geobay, an 87m DP2 vessel, was added to our fleet in 2013. She is permanently mobilised with a heave compensated geotechnical drill rig with downhole sampling and CPT system mounted

Horizon Nomad

The Horizon Nomad, a 60m DP 2 vessel, was added to our fleet in 2019. This vessel has been permanently mobilised for geophysical and ROV surveys complying with the marine standards set by the global oil and gas operators.

Quest Horizon

The Quest Horizon, a 65m DP2 vessel, was commissioned and built for Horizon and was delivered in 2014. This vessel has been designed for both geotechnical investigations and geophysical surveys.
