Quest Horizon
The Quest Horizon, a 65m DP2 vessel, was commissioned and built for Horizon and was delivered in 2014. This vessel has been designed for both geotechnical investigations and geophysical surveys.
Horizon’s growing fleet of permanently mobilised ocean going vessels for offshore geophysical, hydrographic, ROV and geotechnical surveys are able to support our clients on a global scale. Nearshore capability includes Self Elevating Platforms (SEPs) for geotechnical investigations and shallow draft survey boats for hydrographic and geophysical surveys in nearshore coastal waters.
When required, Horizon mobilises charter vessels and our offshore geotechnical drilling rigs are easily mobilised onto DP2 class vessels. Full geophysical, hydrographic, environmental and ROV survey spreads are readily available for mobilisation onto chartered and client supplied vessels.
The Quest Horizon, a 65m DP2 vessel, was commissioned and built for Horizon and was delivered in 2014. This vessel has been designed for both geotechnical investigations and geophysical surveys.
The Horizon Nomad, a 60m DP 2 vessel, was added to our fleet in 2019. This vessel has been permanently mobilised for geophysical and ROV surveys complying with the marine standards set by the global oil and gas operators.
The Horizon Geobay, an 87m DP2 vessel, was added to our fleet in 2013. She is permanently mobilised with a heave compensated geotechnical drill rig with downhole sampling and CPT system mounted
The Horizon Surveyor is a designated survey vessel and was built in 2004. She is permanently mobilised with analogue geophysical and hydrographic survey spreads.
The Gard Horizon, a 75m DP2 vessel, was added to Horizon’s fleet in early 2022. She is permanently mobilised with a heave compensated geotechnical drill rig with downhole sampling and CPT system allowing her to drill boreholes for foundation design.
Horizon’s Terra-Surf Self Elevating Platform (SEP) can operate in water depths from 1m to 10m. The Terra-Surf is permanently mobilised with a drill rig and downhole testing equipment.
The Amphibious Vehicle 1 has been designed to cater to nearshore geotechnical investigation in water depths less than 3m.
Horizon has a fleet of nearshore survey boats which are all permanently mobilised with analogue geophysical and hydrographic survey spreads.
